    1983 - unstoppable offense, defense couldn’t stop anyone 1984 - run stuffing defense, inept offense 1985 - offense started great, then disintegrated, defense pretty good 1986 - brilliant special teams, excellent defense, non-existent offense Yeah. I remember all that.

    Anyone here remember the game in the 1980s when every player on the Chiefs roster had the flu? They played the game. They sucked, but they played.

    Not talking about the entire season, just this one game. The defense is depleted and facing a hot rod QB. It’s a good strategy to keep him off the field with a power running game. I think so, anyway.

Seriously, (truncated) Goodell and his (truncated) have (truncated) this once great league and I’m (truncated) because I used to be able to sit back, slam down some pizza and enjoy the game without all the (truncated) and now the (truncated) makes it even worse.     Yeah, it was. Something came up and I had to miss the game and when I got back it had just ended and the score was on the TV and radio. I was looking for a newspaper to see if I could find out what had happened to the offense. Then, the alarm went off. shudder
