I think Turley’s injury was essentially career ending yet he tried to make a comeback and it didn’t work out. I think Long is in much better shape than Turley was.

Oh, heck no. I was hoping the Chiefs could sign him, but that kind of money would cripple a team for years. Insane is the word.

Your ability to adjust is limited when your O line is nonexistent. There’s only so much you can do. Normally, screens and draws can slow the rush, but in this game our practice squad O line was so overmatched screens were not an option. The only viable adjustment would have been Marty ball and the team isn’t built for that. Anyone who watched the game knows Pat played his ass off. Unless the O line issue is the forefront of the offseason priorities Pat will have a very short career and 5 years from now we’ll all be here lamenting what might have been.

$8,000,000 can buy a nice RT.
