  1. Well, i have a bottle of cheap but good Cabernet I’m saving for the game and I’m about to pop the cork and enjoy the show. Cheers.
  2. Great article. I always liked the guy. Now I like him more. Thanks for posting it.
  3. What the heck. 4894 yards 43 TDs 12 INTs I would like to agree with sith that we will see more of a running game this year, but with the always pass-happy Big Red Wizard on the sidelines with his dream QB, he won't be able to control himself.
  4. That isn't what we all said 1970 - 2019. I can get used to this thinking, though.
  5. I'd love to see it. I don't know when they dropped it, but I remember watching a game long ago when the Chiefs went to a conventional huddle and it annoyed me.
  6. Yeah, that's up there. Some Chiefs cheerleaders showed up the same night. I remember noticing how tiny there were. My favorite moment was probably walking out of Arrowhead behind a Raider fan who was flipping a 5 minute long bird at all the jeers he was getting after the Raiders lost. Also, walking into the stadium for the first time in my life, with AH as my guide. My least favorite was helping Xen carry a cooler that must have weighed 300 lbs across the field to the tailgate in Arrowhead. Dang near pulled my arm out of socket but I wasn't going to let him know that.
  7. Andy will stay here as long as he wants. He’s in the perfect situation with the best QB and offense of his career. This is what he’s been waiting for. I think he relishes being the wizard behind the Mahomes phenomenon and will stay as long as he can, 5 more years minimum. But, yeah, to do so he has to take care of himself. P90x, my man. Dial up Tony.
  8. My grandparents lived in El Paso, grandpa was stationed at Ft. Bliss. My mom, sister and I lived there when my dad was deployed during the Vietnam war. I went to Schuster Elementary 1st and 2nd grade.
  9. Born in Kansas and somehow wound up here in Shreveport, Louisiana. 20 miles from the Texas border.
  10. Benny Thompson turned the game around. He was unblockable. The Oilers has no answer for the Chiefs pass rush once he started blitzing.
  11. Instead of just releasing the schedule, the NFL has to make a big freaking production of it and spend 3 hours raking in commercial cash. NFL to release 2020 schedule in 3-hour special on Thursday
  12. C+ Chiefs are in the enviable position of lacking large holes to fill anywhere on offense or defense, leaving them free to roll the dice on crazy good athletes with question marks but huge potential. Gay’s character issues allowed him to fall into the Chiefs’ lap and Danna is purely a gamble. I have to like Sneed. He’s a local kid I hope gets plenty of playing time.
  13. I stand corrected. Perhaps "glaring" is a bit overstating it. My point: The D line is exceptional. LBs are OK but could use an upgrade. Safeties are rock solid CBs are merely adequate. I would like to see CBs in the same class as the safeties. Yes, that's asking a lot. But, the Chiefs as they are have few deficiencies. I have to look hard to find something to gripe about.
  14. Yeah, I was hoping for a CB in a higher round. It’s a glaring need and has been for years. Yet, they don’t seem to make moves to address it.
  15. Looks like he can stuff the run and has speed to spare.
  16. Oh crap. Tornado warning so they drop coverage for a hysterical weather dude pointing at a map.
