  1. You bet. I just saw the team run onto he field. Man, what a great place to be right now.
  2. I bet it already smells goooooooood. A buddy of mine who lives in Dallas went to his first game at Arrowhead a few weeks ago. A Christmas gift from his wife. He said he had the time of his life and loved the parking lot barbecue. Wish I was there now.
  3. I'm still traumatized by Percy Snow and his career ending moped injury.
  4. Chiefs / 49rs. My work wife/cubicle mate is a psychotic 49rs fan, so that would be the perfect match for me.
  5. We're seeing the decline of the dynasty, just as we saw the 1970s Steelers, 1980s 49rs and all other past dynasties come to an end. Without Tom Terrific, the Pats are just another competive team.
  6. Well, yeah, but that fails to take into account that the teams earning a bye are the better teams to begin with, Thus, they played their way into a bye week.
  7. It's my fault. I didn;t know the game was showing here, so I wasn't watching. I just turned on the TV and there it was. The fumble.
  8. I would be delighted to be wrong. Every year, the Pats have a game where they fall apart and get steamrolled by a well-prepared team. Unfortunately, they've already had that game this year.
  9. My unsolicited prediction: Pats roll. Chiefs defensive deficiencies exposed. Offense stymied by mistakes, dropped passes and penalties. And some good old Pats home cooking. Expect a roughing the passer call for someone looking at Brady without proper deference. Mahomes will battle gamely and make some amazing passes, making it respectable. Pats - 30 Chiefs - 16 Next week's hot topics will include firing Big Red and potential draft prospects to fill defensive and O-line holes.
  10. Well, a ramshackle offensive line pretty much precludes any hope of offense and yet the offense was solid. So, when the line gets healthy they should be back to their spectacular selves. The penalties are a killer, along with the dropped passes. One less penalty and the outcome is different. Meh, it's another week in Chiefs kingdom. This is how it goes.
  11. I know. But, give the man his due. He was solid in pass protection last season and a major upgrade over his replacement. Pat is the future. I want him to be around for the next 10 - 12 years. If he's knocked around like he was after Fisher went down, that won't happen.
  12. No. I'm assuming he'll be back in the next few weeks. Otherwise, you have to let him play and give Cam some help.
  13. C'mon. Admit it. You're surprised he's playing this well. So am I. It's great to have a QB of this quality as a backup.
  14. Yesterday Mitch Holthus and Kendell Gammon made the point that NFC North teams can't reproduce Hill's speed in practice so they have to make adjustments at game time. They have no experience with that speed.
  15. Yeah, even of he weren't the fastest player I've ever seen, I would still think he's one of the best receivers in the league. Add his speed and you're looking at the best. Rarely do you see such a fast receiver with such good hands who can run perfect routes consistently.
