This is not a game I plan to rewatch during the week. Other than Pacheco running the ball it felt disjointed. Left tackle definitely an issue. As for the defense? Can't cover TEs to save their soul. I think other teams are smart enough to figure out how to attack us. Can the Chiefs make the necessary adjustments? Oh and I completely forgot we still struggle to score TDs in the Red zone.

We just don't know. I'm hearing there are possibly a couple different ways the surgery could go. One less evasive than the other. If it's the more evasive than the season is probably done. If the lesser? Than a shot he is back this year.

Some teams just seem to give off what I call "thug" vibes. Certainly the Raiders come to mind first. But you can put Cincy in there. Mostly crap that Chase says but others have thrown shade at the Chiefs. The media loves it and all of them point to how the Bengals knocked the Chiefs off in the AFCCG. How long ago was that? It would absolutely deflate the talking heads if the Chiefs were to go off on Cincy and easily win. So that is what I am hoping for.

Has any quarterback gotten more mileage out of beating Mahomes than Joe Burrow? Every podcast analyzing this game makes it sound like because Burrow beat Mahomes in the AFCCG a few years ago.....somehow they are on equal ground. It astounds me.

The recipe is there. Pats ran pretty well against the Bungles. Feed Pacheco and Steele. Looks like Hollywood won't suit up but I'd say the same for Tee Higgins. Not having Higgins is a greater detriment to Cincy. McDuffie shadows Chase. Burrow isn't a running threat like Lamar. I think the defense does a better job locking things down. Plus I'm not sure Burrow's hand isn't still bothering him. Chiefs by 10.

Notoriously slow starters....the Bungles looked bad in week 1. Two turnovers, sloppy tackling and Burrow barely threw the ball beyond a few yards. By many accounts they looked like a team struggling to find their way. However, no one should bank on that being the team the Chiefs face on Sunday. Bengals hate, hate, hate the Chiefs and always seem to give them trouble. They likely will find a way to circle the wagons and make it a game. When is the last time either of these teams won by more than a FG?

The Bengals certainly don't want to go 0-2. I just don't think the Bengals can control the Chiefs offense. Chiefs left a lot of meat on the bone against Baltimore. Gonna have the mini bye. Maybe Hollywood is back. I think the Chiefs put the conference (and the league) on notice.

One wonders these past couple of years how the Chiefs have managed to win two Championships given how we never win rather it's the other teams giving the game away. 🙄

Burrow isn't Jackson. He won't be running around much. That's a huge positive. However, Burrow is a better passer and we looked weak against the Ravens TEs and RBs on dump offs. Burrow and Co. will most definitely try to exploit that.

Low risk. But I do find this move interesting. You have Rice, Worthy, Brown and Watson as locks. Add Juju cuz I don't think they are gonna sign him at this stage and just turn around and cut him. That's five. If they only keep six that means a lot of hopefuls are gonna say bye bye. I'm gonna say it's Hardman or Moore. The rest are PS or cuts

Well.....after the first preseason game I said there were a lot of mistakes that needed to be cleaned up and some players didn't look good and likely weren't making the roster. Apparently I was lumped in as an "over reactor". With that in mind....Preseason 2? Everything was great. It's all perfect. 90 guys are making the roster.
