  1. Tebow time was fun for a year, especially after having suffered through two years of Kyle Orton's suck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Idx5wsH6Fys
  2. Neither did Elway apparently... But Tim Tebow has something that NO KC QB from 1994 to 2015 has/had - a playoff win.
  3. Salty... Nice. I'm not suggesting anything other than in my franchise the Chiefs lacked the cap space to sign Mahomes and he walked out a free agent to the open arms of the Patriots. But it's kind of silly to make fun of Denver QBs when the Chiefs have started guys like Damon Huard, Brodie Croyle, Tyler Thigpen, Elvis Grbac, Matt Cassell......
  4. Kitchens' playcalling and formation sets were the shit of nightmares this year for Cleveland and Mayfield. He repeatedly called long developing play after long developing play despite the fact that Cleveland's offensive line is awful. Mayfield is at his best when he is in shotgun picking apart defenses in the spread, and Kitchens did literally the opposite of that this season. He deserved to be fired for his offensive system alone. Throw in the other stuff in addition to losing their asses off, it was a no-brainer.
  5. True story. I tried to sign him to my Lions team but couldn't come up with the cap space. This could spell bad news for you guys. In reality he's going to cost $40 MILLION per season. Hell, Dak Prescott was demanding over $30 MILLION per season from Jerry Jones.
  6. In my Madden 20 franchise, Mahomes demands over $250 MILLION, the Chiefs can't afford him, he becomes a free agent, and the New England Patriots sign him just as Tom Brady retires.
  7. So you threw out your Rivers jersey now that he sucks?
  8. I didn’t expect Denver to win. When I saw the snow I knew it was all over. That said, unlike YOU, I don’t stop being a fan of my team when they suck. Speaking of “MEMORIES”, I remember when you left the Chiefs for the Chargers and then hopped back on the KC bandwagon when they got decent again. You are the Michael Cohen of the CTO.
  9. I agree with all of this dhitter. As always you're a rare voice of reason in the adult daycare that is CTO.
  10. There will never be another Elway. Greatest AFC West QB of all time. Stop with the blasphemy. 8 Super Bowl appearances as a QB/GM... The man deserves a spot on Rushmore. Bow before his greatness dude.
  11. I never said the Chiefs didn't have momentum. I never said that the Broncos momentum would beat the Chiefs by itself. In fact, I've said several times in this discussion I think the Chiefs will win. My point was that the Broncos look like an entirely different team NOW, than when Joe Flacco was three-and-out every drive for the Broncos in the first half of the season. The Chiefs were already good at that time, they are still good, maybe better. Anything beyond that is just the CTO getting it's panties in a wad, I guess some of these cute little fellas were coddled too much after their hatchings.
  12. I honestly think Moore played a great game against the Broncos, so if you just consider overall play, that game, that week, Moore made great reads and threw with really good accuracy. Yes, Mahomes is much better than Moore, but on a per play basis, Moore was highly effective, so if you consider the net result, sure, it's possible Mahomes playing the entire game would have resulted in more points, maybe, but I think the differential was nominal. That said, Flacco handcuffed ANYTHING Denver could do, and it put more and more pressure on a defense that was already overwhelmed at that time. So a first down here and there, a TD here and there, moving the ball 30 yards before punting, etc, those things make dramatic differences in the outcome of games. So far, Lock's presence in the passing game has taken pressure off of the Denver offensive line, the WRs, and most importantly, the defense. Though he threw for 300 yards last week, almost in the first half alone, his mechanics need work and he got lucky on some really risky throws. So Lock is certainly not polished, and playing at Arrowhead is brutal for any QB, especially a young one. But what Lock lacks in polish he makes up for with confidence. That confidence has CLEARLY, and I mean clearly affected the rest of the players on the field, from OL to the defensive backfield. So yes, Denver will probably lose on Sunday, and they may very well get blown out, but it won't be the same lifeless, hopeless, and frankly depressing ass team to watch that KC played the first time. I will say this though, if the Chiefs don't get pressure, Lock will have success.
  13. Dude, that's such an elementary view of football. Momentum and team identity plays such a critical role in how games play out. Each game is different, each week is different, the Broncos may lose, but they look like an entirely different team that lost to KC earlier in the year, regardless of where it took place, and regardless of who was/wasn't healthy at that time.
  14. Good point. Maybe Elway will bust out a jedi mind trick and trade him to Oakland for a 1st rounder. Awesomeness.
  15. Wow, you're right dude. Denver shouldn't even bother showing up, KC could score over 100 because like, compounding math and all...
  16. Flacco sucks, no doubt, he doesn't even look like he wants to be play football at this point in his life, and his arm is no longer strong, which is probably why he declined so quickly in Baltimore... But damn, I expected a lot better out of him than Denver got. He'll make a decent backup though.
  17. The Broncos saved $11 MILLION in cap space this season converting Flacco's contract to a bonus, and it also allowed them to void the last two seasons of his contract if they choose. In other words, Flacco effectively signed a 1 year contract with the Broncos. He won't even be on the roster next season.
  18. Not when the Chiefs are still in play for the # 2... That would be unnecessarily ballsy.
  19. KC is tough to beat at home, especially in the cold, and especially when your starting QB is a rookie with two starts, but if KC fans think they're playing against the same team that they flattened with Flacco at QB then they're in for a surprise on Sunday...
  20. Two straight weeks now the Denver offense has been light years better than before Lock started at QB... He's young, he's going to have some awful games, but he has a swagger/cockiness about him I didn't realize he had at Mizzou. It has filtered down to the entire team. In two starts Lock is 15/18 passing on 3rd down, with 3 TDs, and the defense is teeing off.
  21. You finally got one right FANATIC. Broncos are going to shroom-stamp some KC foreheads this week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c6IjKnvgO4
