wilkie 1,518 Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Steelers had four legitimate pass rushers along the front line. They also had Lambert and Ham and their strong safety was Blount. The Chiefs had Aaron Brown, who was AFL sack leader in 1969 but two really legit tackles in Culp and Buchanan. Their linebackers Bell, Lanier and Lynch were the key. But I have to say, having watched most all of those games, the Steeler defense of the seventies was superior. PS always glad to participate in the old guy thread.
