Don't expect too much, it's Oklahoma

Tulsa is actually an upwardly mobile white collar city with a lot of money and actual culture guided by the huge energy industry presence there.  It’s why this is an ideal untapped market the Chiefs should tap into. Plus it’s only four hours away.  Same goes for Arkansas market where the NW part of the state is one of the fastest growing areas of the country and again a ton of people with disposable income

In short this councilman isn’t all together wrong about growing regional fan base.  I just think focus should be on those two untapped markets and not St Louis or Mexico City for that matter

But you get an hour west of Tulsa and OKC is little more than a giant version of Wichita and beyond that is a red dirt wasteland where even farming is difficult. Nothing to be gained marketing to those folks although I would bet we’ve got a lot of new fans in the Lubbock area which isn’t any better.

May be something like daily bus tours to the game 🤔

Give our season ticket holders a break and alternate playing one preseason game a year between Tulsa and Fayetteville or Little Rock. It would be a pretty big deal in those cities and could lead to millions in additional revenue streams which is important in one of the leagues smaller markets because not all revenue is shared.

As they mentioned before it's critical to play one home game in the preseason to test the pitch, if there's serious money to be made they can do whatever they want with the other preseason game as long as we don't see any "shows" during regular season.

It's a bit old but here's some info about the Chiefs revenues. Looks like a preseason game wouldn't really cost that much.
