kkuenn 3,613
Adam SchefterESPN Senior Writer Free-agent RB Carlos Hyde, released Friday by the Jaguars, is scheduled to visit Saturday with the Kansas City Chiefs, per source. Hyde could be a complement to Chiefs' RB Damien Williams.
Iluvhouse24 1,808
Terez A. Paylor @TerezPaylor There’s a good chance the Chiefs will be signing RB Carlos Hyde when he visits tomorrow, per a source. Pending a physical.
Gil 243
Hyde can ball out. He hasn't been the most consistent, but he played with shitty QB play in SF and there was too much competition at CLE and JAX just flat out stunk after KC destroyed them. He has flashed big though. I expect him to be the starter in week 1 if we get him.

jetlord 10,210
So if the Chiefs sign him, will they pass on a RB on day two of the draft? I liked the idea of Henderson from Memphis and thought he was a third round possibility.

Teams could sell out to stop the run because they knew Bortles wasn’t beating them. Different story with Mahomes.
moons314 2,463
I’d rather use a draft pick on that position, unless the primary concern here is that Williams can’t be trusted to pick up a blitzer.

In addition to Jackson, the Jaguars also released safety Tashaun Gipson, running back Carlos Hyde, right tackle Jermey Parnell and long snapper Carson Tinker. The moves were made, in part, to create salary-cap space to sign a veteran quarterback, expected to be Nick Foles.

I just see this as cheap depth and a 1 year flyer to give us some options in case we can't find a RB we liked in the draft.
TomahawkChop 255
I don’t know. Numbers seem pretty pedestrian. Been on three teams and has yet to break out, which seams to negate the “change of scenery” mantra. I guess I’d rather see the Chiefs pick up a day two RB to compliment the Williams’. That said, I trust Veach and Andy to make the right call.

CranjisMcbasketball 781
I don’t remember this guy being a threat in the passing game, maybe im wrong about that. Its too important for the rb in this offense to be a pass catcher to sign someone who can’t do that well
azchief21 5,278
This guy will thrive with the threat of Mahomes arm. Not sure he ever played with a QB the defense had to respect.
