Just got off probation last August for domestic violence. You would think he would be smart and never ever touch anyone.

Yes innocent until proven guilty. No doubt.

Not sure KC should extend him regardless of the outcome?

Well this likely cost him a bunch of money.  Are we supposed to do the "right" thing and ship him to Cleveland?

Agree. Very Risky to give this kind of contract to.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs are discussing a "record-setting deal" with contract-year WR Tyreek Hill.

Odell Beckham is currently the highest-paid wideout in league history, making $18 million per year on a deal that included $41 million guaranteed. In some ways, Hill is an unlikely candidate to top that, but his indefensible speed has led him to back-to-back 1,100-yard seasons. Still only 25, he offers an almost limitless ceiling with Patrick Mahomes at the controls.

Brooke Pryor and Steve Vockrodt of the Kansas City Star report Tyreek Hill is being investigated for alleged battery.

No charges have been filed as of Friday afternoon, though police in Overland Park continue to investigate. Hill's son was reportedly injured in the alleged battery, suffering a broken arm. A police report obtained by the Kansas City Star was dated on Thursday, though it's unclear when the incident occurred. Hill's fiancee, Crystal Espinal, was mentioned in the report and has been in contact with police, according to the Star. Hill is no stranger to controversy. He was booted from Oklahoma State in 2014 following a domestic violence incident against Espinal, who was pregnant at the time. Hill later pled guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation. It's another PR nightmare for the Chiefs, who dealt with a similar incident involving Kareem Hunt last year. Even if Hill avoids charges, he could be facing a lengthy suspension, especially considering his sordid off-field history.

I guess this is why players drop in the draft when they have character issues.  What we got out of him is pretty good for a 5th round draft pick. Our third round pick that draft didn't even make the team.

I don't like this thought process considering the contract we just gave honeybadger...lol
