To be fair, comparing a backup in 1965 to a backup in 2019 is a bit of a stretch. Still, back ups have come in and won but the failure rate is higher than the success rate. Then flips that guy to another team and you see first hand how good Big Red is. I’ll bet he could get 85 percent of Alex Smith from Chad Henne But your main point is spot on.
