Hardman struggles early in camp. Dropping passes and kickoffs. Its early hope he improves quickly.

Hardman with a couple of noticeable drops. One he had to dig low , this one was in 7 on 7 on a slant and hit him in the hands. #Chiefs

I wouldn't worry much about this.  A lot to learn and retain when running routes in this Offense, so he's probably overthinking a lot.

But it's why you don't trade a Demarcus Robinson without being wow'd in an offer.

Going to repeat this name for you: Juan Thornhill, safety, #chiefs. The kid is making his mark immediately. He and @Mathieu_Era will be as good a tandem that the league has in 2019. #nfl

WOW. Big statement from a guy I respect!

Exactly.  Although he did have a great day yesterday.

Hell even today he caught a 40 yard bomb from henne.

CHIEFS WRs Tyreek 4.24 Sammy 4.43 Mecole 4.33 That’s an average 40 time of 4.34 Honestly, is this the fastest starting trio in history?

actually i have seen sub 4.3 speeds attached to hardman, like 4.26   yeah the slow guy runs a 4.4

Chiefs second-year CB Tremon Smith is moving to running back.

Smith was the 196th overall pick in last year's draft. He played 82 snaps on defense as a rookie and was a FCS All-American as a senior at Central Arkansas who picked off 15 career passes. We at least know he can catch. Smith ran a 4.32 forty at his Pro Day. He adds a speed element to the Chiefs' backfield where Smith will compete with Darrel Williams and rookie Darwin Thompson behind Damien Williams and Carlos Hyde.

It looks like Tremon Smith has moved to the offense. He moves from CB to RB here at #ChiefsCamp.

Replying to @ChiefsReporter

He’ll be in the first cuts. Who’s he gonna beat out in the RBs?? Williams, Hyde, Dtrain??? I don’t think so

Well before Keith Reaser suffered an Achilles injury on Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs had a need at the cornerback position. Their team-produced show The Franchise showed Brett Veach speaking with owner Clark Hunt about players at the position he coveted — such as Byron Murphy and Rock Ya-Sin.

The largest investment the team has made at the position so far is the $2 million they spent to acquire Bashaud Breeland, who had a slow start to camp with a lacerated thumb. D’Montre Wade is now seeing time with the first unit. Across from him, Charvarius Ward had some struggles over the weekend. Kendall Fuller appears to have been relegated to the slot.

So there has been cause to worry about the cornerback group — and the situation hasn’t improved. In fact, this worrisome position group has been disappointing so far.

Moved Smith to offense from corner. Another Veach miss in the draft! Better ship him out before he ruins completely!
