No doubt is a cumulative effort. But the entire process behind Mahomes draft has been VERY well documented. And Dorsey was only on the periphery as much as a GM can possibly be. Make no mistake, this has always been Andy Reids franchise since he got here. And when it comes to a massive move for a QB, he made the ultimate decision. But it was clearly Brett Veach who actively sold the idea to the decision makers.

I feel a lot better about last year if what I heard was true. They said on the radio that we didn’t trade up for Speaks. We traded up for Josh Jackson and GB grabbed him one pick ahead of us. 

He started 10 games and had 10 passes defenses as a rookie.
