ESPN- TRAINING CAMP MVP'S

Recommended Posts

Kansas City Chiefs

Defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon

The former second-round draft pick's roster chances didn't look good when camp started. But he seems rejuvenated after moving from linebacker, where he spent the past two seasons. Kpassagnon has played defensive end, rush end and inside at tackle, and he's been making plays at all of them. It's an upset now if he doesn't make the team. -- Adam Teicher

He really has had a great camp.  Good for him.

Can't underestimate how much quality coaching can help with development. Bredan Daly came in with a great reputation and he's living up to that.

How about playing on the line rather than as a stand up OLB?  Sutton kept trying to point square pegs into round holes.

Not just Sutton...we were drafting square pegs for round holes. The GM makes the final call on draft day.

When your GM drafts a guy and specifically compares him to a defensive lineman and then the coach plays his st LB, I think the coach is the primary issue.  I do agree though Veach seemed to draft 4-3 guys perhaps anticipating the move to Spags
