FANATIC 852
ANDREW ADAMSDB, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT Lions released S Andrew Adams. Despite a strong summer, Adams could probably see the writing on the wall after playing deep into Thursday night's preseason finale at Cleveland. The former UConn Husky logged a team-high four interceptions over 13 appearances including four starts for the Bucs last season. He should land on his feet. reesebobby 5,664
I don't know anything about him, but I'd think we'd go CB instead of safety. We have a lot of dollars tied up in safeties and a need at CB.

jetlord 10,210
TE or CB are the only areas that the Chiefs could improve through picking up cuts. On the other hand, four or five Chiefs cuts could be picked by other teams.

I see Speaks as more of a DT than DE and the Chiefs don't really need a D-lineman all that much even without Speaks.
NChiefsCorner 496
Bills released RB LeSean McCoy. The Bills had stated numerous times all offseason they were committed to McCoy despite the obvious writing on the wall. McCoy, 31, was headed into the final year of his deal, and the move clears $6.425 million in cap space for Buffalo. It makes total sense after the signing of Frank Gore in the offseason and subsequent selection of Devin Singletary in the draft. This is a Gore-Singletary backfield now, skyrocketing Singletary up the fantasy ranks. McCoy should land on his feet, but he's obviously running out of gas and on the wrong side of 30. Perhaps the Bucs or Texans will make a call. McCoy spent the last four years in Buffalo, compiling an 885-3,814-25 rushing line with a pair of 1,000-yard campaigns. FANATIC 852
Trade: The #Chiefs are sending CB Mark Fields to the #Vikings, source said. 6:47 AM - 31 Aug 2019
NChiefsCorner 496
The Vikings and Chiefs have hooked up for a trade ahead of Saturday afternoon’s deadline to drop to 53 players. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs are sending cornerback Mark Fields to Minnesota. There’s no word on the compensation coming back to Kansas City. Fields, who is the son of former NFL linebacker Mark Fields, was signed by the Chiefs after going undrafted earlier this year. He played in 47 games over four years at Clemson and was used mostly as a reserve in the defensive backfield. The Vikings came into the weekend with nine cornerbacks on their 90-man roster. The move for Fields shows they weren’t satisfied with that group with the start of the regular season around the corner. Compensation appears to be a draft pick. FANATIC 852
So Seattle gets a first & second for Clark and replaces him with Clowney? Hmmm. How much better is Clark than Clowney? JADEVEON CLOWNEYLB, HOUSTON TEXANS NFL.com's Tom Pelissero reports the Seahawks are "deep in talks" to acquire Texans unsigned franchise player Jadeveon Clowney. The Texans desperately tried to send Clowney to Miami for LT Laremy Tunsil, but Clowney vetoed the move. He has that power since he has yet to sign his tender. He has been trying to force his way to Seattle or Philadelphia. It appears he will get his way. Clowney would provide a massive boost from the Seahawks' Frank Clark-less, Jarran Reed-less (for six games) defensive line. Seahawks acquired DE Jadeveon Clowney from the Texans. The Houston Chronicle, which has been all over the story, reports the Seahawks are sending a third-round pick and "two players" the Texans' way. The Texans had been expected to acquire an offensive lineman or two, but The Athletic reports both players are linebackers. It's a massive admission of defeat from the Texans after they had been zeroed in on Dolphins LT Laremy Tunsil. As for the Seahawks, it's a coup for a defensive line that desperately needed one. Pete Carroll's front seven will now have a little juice as it waits for DT Jarran Reed to return from his six-game suspension. Iluvhouse24 1,808
Houston released Derrick Baity, UDFA from Kentucky that played for House. Maybe a depth guy to keep an eye on. We've cut and traded a CB today, making by far our worst position group even thinner. Veach has to have something up his sleeve.
