Holy cow... a 3rd for Hyde? I thought it was just a player swap.

ya the Texans player they got is only 24 and was a 3rd round pick in 2018.

The Texans also gave up 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick AND 2 players to MIA for L. Tunsel and Stills.

They're crazy.

We need a swing tackle and hopefully this guy has time to develop. Pretty ballsy move to guaranty Allen a mil and then cut him. I don’t know if they are done at Oline. They are clearly uncomfortable at OT depth.

Henne will go on IR and Allen will be back. Giving away 1 million is stupid vs ballsy.

Cutting Allen just made it possible to keep a prospect until other teams set their final rosters.  Allen will be back and Hunter or Ivie will go to PS IMHO

In 2021?  Can't get much less than that, but then again, Fields had zero value for the Chiefs.  Maybe he'll catch on later, but right now he would be a liability.

Potentially something for nothing Jet.

Nice trade not sure it was MAGIC.

Carlos Hyde rushed 10 times for 83 yards in the Texans' Week 1 loss to the Saints Monday night.

Hyde got the start in this one and ran for nine yards on the game's first play. Acquired from the Chiefs at final cuts after he quickly washed out of Kansas City, Hyde actually looked pretty good in this game with several chunk runs. His longest went for 20 yards. Duke Johnson was also heavily involved following his acquisition from the Browns, but it was pretty clear the Texans liked Hyde on early downs and Johnson in a pass-game role. Johnson managed to out-touch Hyde 13-11. Hyde totaled 85 yards (with a two-yard catch) and Johnson contributed 90 yards. Hyde will be extremely TD-dependent in this role. He has a tougher draw next week against the Jaguars.
