QB might be toughest position to play out of any/all sports. Patrick makes it look like a piece of cake, which is damaging to past QB's thinking how great they were. Mahomes is on the verge of embarrassing their stats and status, once he get gets that first Superbowl.

NFL has never seen anything like this, and he's a Chief. Amazing

Comparing any player in todays flag football offense based game to any player in the older era of , REAL MEN DONT EAT HUMUS & HIT HARD,  is a WASTED CONVERSATION. Its a completely different game now.

Dawson was out throwing that chump in 1964. Tossing 200 a game with that team around you is a joke in any era. Tossing nearly as many picks as TDs is a joke in any era.

Those of her players that out performed were playing in the same era and mostly with much less talented teams. Plus he had 4 of those seasons with more picks than TDs.

2 of those SB seasons he was in the bottom half of the league.

Lenny D and Joe Namath probably got something to say to Troy Aikman

Tough guys in a tough time for NFL.   Fair to equate with Aikman.   No in the grasp.  Bump and run was the order of the day.  No roughing the QB.

We all understand rule changes were made to enhance offensive football but bump and run press coverage is still widely used in this league. And there was absolutely roughing the QB as well as “in the grasp”  in the early 90s.

I think you are confusing "tough" with "dirty".

The speed of the game and the mass of the players makes today's NFL the toughest of all.

I have a ton of respect for the players of the 60's and 70's but even the Superstars of that era would have a tough time making a roster today.

just my opinion.

and....Aikman is still an asshat
