Chiefmanzada 466
QB might be toughest position to play out of any/all sports. Patrick makes it look like a piece of cake, which is damaging to past QB's thinking how great they were. Mahomes is on the verge of embarrassing their stats and status, once he get gets that first Superbowl. NFL has never seen anything like this, and he's a Chief. Tossing nearly as many picks as TDs is a joke in any era. FANATIC
DieHard 2,061
Passing yards 1990. #14 1991. #16 1992. #4 1993. #16 1994. #19 1995. #18 1996. #10 1997. #5 1998. #23 1999. #12 2000. #30 Those of her players that out performed were playing in the same era and mostly with much less talented teams. Plus he had 4 of those seasons with more picks than TDs. 2 of those SB seasons he was in the bottom half of the league.
DefensiveMan 758
Seems to me he's challenging the Mahomester. That's good.

Fair to equate with Aikman. No in the grasp. Bump and run was the order of the day. No roughing the QB.

And there was absolutely roughing the QB as well as “in the grasp” in the early 90s.
wilkie 1,518
Not in the 60s and 70s. Those players were tough guys. Aikman benefited from rules changed in the 90s
West 6,713
I think you are confusing "tough" with "dirty". The speed of the game and the mass of the players makes today's NFL the toughest of all. I have a ton of respect for the players of the 60's and 70's but even the Superstars of that era would have a tough time making a roster today. just my opinion. w and....Aikman is still an asshat AlwaysChiefs
jetlord 10,207
The real question is how did Aikman compare with his contemporaries and how does Mahomes compare with his.
wilkie 1,518
Aikman should shut up about toughness until he plays the t976 Steelers
