I wouldn't really call 31 HCs failures every year as some of the teams area always rebuilding. However when you have a long stint in any team every year you don't win is a failure. Doing it throughout your career is just simply a reason not to be considered "great". Great ones find a way to win and if you consistently find a way to lose that's just a whole other image.
