moons314 2,463
The stars are aligned, it's time for the Chiefs to take care of business and do what they haven't done in a half century.

FANATIC 852
Chris Jones just got done his on the field workout. He was wearing a sleeve on his right calf with a knee brace on that knee as well. I’m told he WILL NOT be active. They wanted to see the workout and make the call. Apparently didn’t see what they wanted. 10:21 AM - 12 Jan 2020 ChiefsFoolFan

liquidfriend 1,151
I don't really give a shit as to why he's injured. It's more of a he's been injured and missed playing time at critical moments in the playoffs almost every single year he's been here. Pointed it out awhile ago and took a lot of crap for it. Suggs can fill a role similar to what Jones can bring inside. Chiefs are being cautionary at this point.

moons314 2,463
Hard to justify giving a big contract to a guy that routinely misses big games. ChiefsFoolFan

Chiefs better score 40+. Hous will run all over KC again. ChiefsFoolFan

Frank Clark is a clear example of that and that's why he has a big money deal right now and Chris Jones doesn't.
kkuenn 3,598
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans announced their list of inactive players for Sunday's divisional round playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs' inactives include defensive tackle Chris Jones, who led the team in sacks this season with nine. Jones has a calf injury. Kansas City's other inactives are quarterback Chad Henne, offensive linemen Jackson Barton, Ryan Hunter and Andrew Wylie, linebacker Darron Lee and cornerback Morris Claiborne. Inactive for Houston are tight end Jordan Akins, safety Jahleel Addae, wide receiver Steven Mitchell, cornerback Cornell Armstrong, tackle Elijah Nkansah, defensive end Carlos Watkins and nose tackle Eddie Vanderdoes.
