Even he has a CAP hit of 8 million and was our lowest graded linemen.  And he missed 18 games the last three years.

Houston was still a good player here but paid like he was elite.  Decision on him couldn’t have been easy.

Berry's contract was terrible but you can't foresee injuries like his.  Just unfortunate how that went down and how much it hurt this team.   Most people knew Houston was a stud that fell in the draft and we should have signed him earlier that would have saved us a pile of money.  But those two really saddled our team.   It really is amazing we won the whole things considering what those two contracts did or prohibited us from doing.   Thankfully that $8 million will be gone next year and I believe we will be down to just one bad contract left on this team, Anthony Hitchens.   But like some of you said at least those guys are playing and contributing.

Signing both Houston and Berry much earlier would have saved us some money. Had to tag one before signing and the other one played under the tag for a year costing us way too much money.
