Sammy was more important to us winning in the playoffs & during the regular season than a lot of us gave him credit for. I don’t know if we win the AFCC or the SB w/o him. Major stretch to think Andy and Brett would see Dez as that guy. But they will certainly be looking for value. So much this offseason hinges on Chris Jones contract. We'd all like to see another TE, Watkins, Jones, Breeland, etc., but that just doesn't fit under the cap. Compromises have to be made and shedding Watkins is probably a first step.
