He was a guard coming out of college but was moved to tackle. Injured the last couple years but could be a good flier if he will play guard at this point in his career No way he's signing as a guard. Too many teams that could use a plug-in left tackle. My shortlist: Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Redskins, New York Jets, New York Giants
kkuenn 3,598
Pretty good guide in FA players. Gives you an idea of a list and who is out there. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28891046/2020-nfl-free-agency-guide-players-know-potential-value-signings-quarterbacks-move
kkuenn 3,598
Well Scherff was tagged. Maybe go after some of the guards mentioned before but what about Thuney? Would he be a good fit for us?

Not with left tackles that can actually play left tackle in this league. Everyone once in a while you see a guy that just didn't cut it outside get signed to be a guard, but Cordy Glenn is not one of those that doesn't cut it. Injuries the past couple years and salary cap savings are the reason he's cut. Some team will bank on him not being in the hot tub again.
Palangi 788
How about Andrus Peat as a guard. Can play LG or RG. Has had some bad breaks (literally). But is only 25 years old. And could really shine in our offensive scheme. As he is a big athletic kid than can get to the second level. Had a down year and injuries could keep his price low. I'd offer around 4 to 5 million a year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2020/2/17/21140477/free-agent-profile-andrus-peat And if the Jaguars are trying to free up cap space. Trade our 5th round pick to them for Brandon Linder. Wad headed very highly at center. Only 28 still LT- Fisher, Senat LG- Rankins, Wylie C- Linder, Allegretti RG- Peat, Wylie RT- Schwartz, Barton
Palangi 788
Another guy to think about and this one might scare a lot of people. Ereck Flowers as a guard https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hogshaven.com/platform/amp/2020/3/8/21170193/should-the-redskins-sign-ereck-flowers-to-a-long-term-contract

Not much in the way of proven talent at tackle in free agency so he'll likely get overpaid. On 3/6/2020 at 6:08 PM, Palangi said: https://walterfootball.com/freeagents2020OT.php I guess you can just say whatever. But hope nobody fact checks you. Not to mention Cordy Glenn and Trent Williams are now on the trade market too. And 5 tackle prospects for the first round. Thomas, Wills, Wirfs, Becton, Jackson Looks more realistic than you think
