I think he has value as a backup because of his great ST play but outside of knowing what he’s suppose to do on the field his play is beyond pedestrian. I'm not saying he's terrible or that I don't like him just think he's gonna have to work for a roster spot this year. His pass pro is very spotty and the fact we brought in Spencer Ware mid season and had he not got hurt DT wouldn't have played at all more than likely in the playoffs. It was also reported that Andy questioned the call of even putting him in the game, Deland McCullough had to vouch for him to keep him in. Couple that with the fact we already have 6 rb's not including Sherman it is interesting to say the least. I like the fact we will have competition though. A full offseason in this system will only help. I think he could be a legitimate rotational piece in 2020. OL Nick Allegretti I thought he looked solid last preseasons and he's had a year of strength training and learning. I give him more than a passing shot to win the starting center job. My surprise cut: RB Darwin Thompson He didn't show me anything last year that warrants a roster spot. Unless he shows marked improvement in camp this year I think he's a goner. Any poll made now is just pointless as people will change their mind on either direction based on how things turn out over time. Also it's always possible for people to find some excuses or obstacles stopping them from attending an event. The good thing is the pandemic started right after Chiefs won the SB providing NFL with the maximum amount of time prior to the new season.
