We actually have some promising young guys as back-ups that we can't afford to release or demote. This draft class is starting off really well and could potentially be a reason why win a SB or two down the road. Wharton, Townsend, Danna, CEH, Sneed, and Willie Gay. That doesn't even count Durant, Niang and Keyes who seem to have potential but are raw. Crazy to think everyone we drafted and grabbed as a udfa could be big contributors as soon as next year. It's disappointing that Niang didn't come to TC and learn for next year. Maybe he had personal reasons for opting out, but it's not a good sign. Hope he eats all their cheeseburgers the age old technique of adding the former player of one of your upcoming foes, disguise it to look as if they really think he can add something to their team when they really want to try to get info on plays the team may run....then said player gets cut 2-3 days after the game....
