Najee Harris

This kid was the number high school running back in the nation as a senior. I think he may have been in the top ten in the country as a recruit overall. He is from the area where I live.

Anyway, his measurable "s" at the combine may not be great with straight line speed, but his toughness has been on display the last two years

I wonder his draft grade will look like? He is after all the top back for Alabama...

I would love this guy to fall and have the chiefs grab him as the thunder back for the future.

Xen and draft gurus, can you help me out with your take on Harris?

I love this kid if he's paired with another quicker back in the NFL.

The good

Harris is all heart.  Love watching his runs as he just is incapable of quitting on a play.  Plays like everyone on defense just fucked his sister and he's gonna make em all pay.

Good pass catcher i think.  Limited opportunities.

Pretty decent in pass pro but haven't really watched this closely

The bad

stiff as a brick

COD

foot quickness not good.  If he doesn't have some steam can get stood up.

How is he as a route runner.  All I've seen are dump offs.

Not a lot of work in passing game outside of a few games but seems like he might have the skillset for it.  Would like to see it.

Fit with KC

I think he'll go a lot higher in the draft than where we would want him.  In our offense I see him as a 3rd down and short yardage back.  But in a downhill gap one-cut offense he could be the starter which is why he'll go a lot higher than we'll have him rated.

As a thunder part of the thunder and lightning equation, I like him though.

Man he just conjures yards out of thin air by refusing to go down.

Seriously how is he not tackled here?

for us?   3rd or 4th round.  For the right team, 2nd.

No, I meant where do you think the pundits have him going.

im sure the combine is going to be a big deal for him.

his 40 is going to really help or really hurt..

if he tests well a lot will mock him in the first.  Unless he murders testing, which i don't see happening, I still think he goes in the 2nd.

adding another RB to this team without addressing the OL first would be a wasted Draft pick

Exactly right.  All the shiny toys in the Chiefs offense won't mean squat if Mahomes is on the sidelines busted up.  An average or better line would make the offense unstoppable with what the Chiefs already have on the roster.

I'm not convinced we have to fix the oline thru the draft though.

Get back Niang and LDT

Possible we could get someone like Jason kelce as a stopgap for cheap.

Fisher back.

Schwartz an unknown

Move Durant to guard permanently

Fisher

Durant

Kelce

LDT

Schwartz or Niang

We'd be fine with that.

Or hell just draft Creed Humphrey.  Only need one pick for that.

LDT wasn't very good before taking a year off to doctor.  I bet he has lost weight and will need time to build back up.  I wouldn't put any stock in him coming back and fixing any issues.

I would put Durant at RG and Rankin at LG. Draft a center to battle with Allegretti.

LT- Fisher

LG- Rankin

 C- Allegretti/ draft

RG- Durant

RT- Niang

I wasn’t really advocating for drafting him.
i like him. He’s from here. It’s cool. He’s a great kid.

you see his post game presser?

Missed it.  He'd be a luxury pick for us.  Not that I'm opposed I just see no way he falls into the range we'd like be comfortable drafting him

I think his speed will hurt in the draft.
I think he goes late second.

his hands are underrated. He’s going to be a better Gurley. He needs to land in the right place.

hed be great in Buffalo, San Diego, nyj, and Atlanta

Personally I think he'd be terrific in the NFC North.   Or hell somewhere in the NFC.
