We really don’t face another running QB like those guys for the rest of the season. We might need to re-sign him for the playoffs. God knows our other backup QB’s weren’t running read option plays. I know that Henne had a running TD last week but come on. It’s a cold business but that’s his role right now. Hopefully, they’ll pick him up in the offseason if Reid sees something in the kid. Barring a long term injury to Mahomes, the Chiefs only need a short fill in or mop up guy.
