Basically if the Steelers lose tonight then the worst case scenario for KC is a 3-way tie at 13-3 that includes the Bills. In that scenario the tiebreaker is Strength of Victory where KC has a big lead. But not guaranteed at this time. Not sure the Bengals are going to hold on, though. kkuenn 3,597
Pitt loses, we win against Atlanta and can just use chargers game as a back up game. Gives us 2 weeks to rest up our guys and plan for the playoff game.

Thegoatee 1,780
Pitt is overrated. They hadn’t played anyone all year. They are probably a first game loss playoff team. Hope Bengals can drop them and they fall to a wild card before year ends.

Biggjliv4 1,292
We need to take care of business, no need to risk becoming complacent going into the playoffs. Bury Atlanta the first half then put reserves in, but bury them first oldtimer

jgriff3029 26
This is an article from a Bills site explaining whatthe Bills would need to have happen for even a chance of getting the 1 seed. The Buffalo Bills still have a very narrow window to the top seed in the AFC. Think microscopic. If the Bills win out to get to 13-3 and the Kansas City Chiefs lose out to get to 13-3, the Chiefs own the head-to-head tiebreaker over Buffalo. So the Bills need another team in the mix. If the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers all finish at 13-3, the Bills have a chance. No one has a head-to-head sweep. AFC record would be the next tiebreaker, and all three teams would be 10-2 in our hypothetical scenario. It moves to record vs common opponents, but there needs to be four common among all three teams and there aren’t. The next tiebreaker is Strength of Victory. Here is where it gets bizarre. They would need a combination of the vast majority of these outcomes to go their way for the Bills to pass Kansas City in Strength of Victory. The Chiefs’ victories over Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and Buffalo loom large. The Bills would need the NFC South to lose all their inter-divisional games except Atlanta vs. Kansas City: New Orleans vs Minnesota, Tampa Bay vs Detroit, Carolina vs Washington The Bills would need the Tennessee Titans to win out against the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans The Baltimore Ravens lose both of their remaining games The Indianapolis Colts lose one of their remaining games The Arizona Cardinals lose both of their remaining two games Atlanta Falcons beat the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the final two weeks The Miami Dolphins beating the Las Vegas Raiders The Houston Texans losing to the Cincinnati Bengals The New York Jets beating the Cleveland Browns The Los Angeles Chargers beating the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs There are probably some more ways to do this, but you kind of get the idea here. Lamardirts 2,114
We just need to put Atlanta away and seal the deal. Not that it really matters but wrapping it up probably means Mahomes aint getting 5,000 or the MVP though he deserves it. Would love for Mahomes to go out and hang 400 and 6 TDs on ATL, but I'll take the win and they bye. That bye gives us a chance to get Remmers, CEH, and possibly Schwartz back with Rankins maybe getting up to speed. Two years in a row two basement dwelling teams beat contenders (supposedly contenders) to help us seal the bye.

Make sure Kelce gets his record and Hill gets.the most td receptions for a chief in one year. So much personal type records for them to get. Wont get that 16th game to do it either. DefensiveMan 758
Even a win next week and I'd play Mahomes a series or two vs Bolts. We all saw how Lamar and Baltimore came out slow vs Titans.
jetlord 10,209
With the bye week sewn up, would the Chiefs really rest the starters for week 17? Two weeks off in a row might be a little much. I'd expect about a half against the Chargers and then mass substitutions. Biggjliv4, Lamardirts and mex 1 1
