Has anyone heard a timeline on his achilles?  It terrifies me to be invested in a tackle with an achilles history.

Heard around camp time, thus to me means in camp trade or cut candidate.

We shouldn't.  Not with CEH, both Williams,  and Thompson all back

If there's a buyer for CEH I wouldn't mind trading him for something similar to what Browns got for Trent Richardson. 2 Williams seem to be doing a decent job whenever they get the call and we could use a proven player in a position of need instead of CEH as we can't fix them all via the draft.

I'd be on board with this. If it wasn't completely nonsensical and counter-productive.

No way is Fisher returning by camp.   That was someone tweeting that but most doctors and most recovery times for an achilles tear is 10-11 months and thats normal not a 300 lb 6-6 human being that has immense pressure put on it almost a 100 times a game.   It'll be Oct-Nov.

Except for dropping a td pass that hit his face mask with no one really near him.

I thought CEH played well last night.    My issue with CEH is they wasted the pick because they refuse to utilize him.   Maybe Patrick Mahomes doesn't want to be forced into that style of game but that gameplan last night was hot garbage.   Mahomes made the comment that the Bucs took away the deep ball.........um duh........and Hills said they prepared for man coverage.   It was like we weren't prepared for anything.

Exactly, ceh, the way he was used, is no better than any back on the roster. We all assumed when he was picked it was to use him as a running back, as well as a dual threat wide receiver weapon. I assumed the same idea when we signed leveon bell. The coaching staff put zero effort into using out backs for the unique skill sets they have. So yes officially wasted that first round pick.

I think the lack of CEH all year is because the fatmen are worthless. Especially Reiter and Wylie. They never get pushes or second level.

exactly the reason why it was worthless to pick up Bell this year, his running style will never succeed behind our crap Oline...didn't cost much but he

was a waste of time invested much like mccoy was last year (he got TWO rings now for doing next to nothing)

The more I think about the more I'm ready to scrap the entire OL.  Allegretti can be depth but that is it.

Draft a first round LT.

Prince Wanogho, Niang and that LT can fight it out for the tackle spots.   Bring in Morse or Kelce on a one year deal for some veteran presence on the OL that calls out blitzs and assignments.   Draft a big LG in the 3rd.   Let Allegretti, Rankin and LDT fight for the RG spot.

Wylie, Remmers, Reiter are all garbage as starting OL.

Rip the band aid off and lets build a brick wall up front.   Dare teams to go two deep safeties.   We will run it down their throat and play-action them to death.

Agreed. But if we are gonna start targeting specific stop gap players at center, let's wait until they actually become available. 🤣🤣🤣

I think Allegretti showed there was improvement. Why kick him aside? Move him into center (what he was drafted for) and build around him

We have some pieces already on the team.  Niang at tackle.  Rankin and Durant can fight for 1 of the guard spots.

Bake? Is that some new slang you picked up from one of your kids?

Not saying he's bad, in fact should have used him much more. However in an environment with so many major needs and viable RBs do we actually turn down something like a 1st for CEH at this point?

Tim Ward is a guy that was interesting in the Chargers game.  He showed a really good burst of the line. Something we really lack from our DEs.

I think Kpass should be allowed to walk.  He is too stiff to be an edge rrushers. He can not bend a corner.

Bring back Charlton and see what Ward can do.  With Clark and Danna. Obviously if like to see a pass rush specialist brought in too

I don't get the "prepared to play against man coverage" bs. So the offense isn't capable of adjusting to all the other times they've had to play against zone this year?

Blows my mind... its like Reid became Bowles the first game where he was trying to prove Hill could be covered 1 on 1. Going to live or die by the deep ball and prove everyone wrong.

Bro if someone offers us a first-rounder I'd take it.   I'd probably take a 2nd rounder this year for him.   I say this because if we have no intent on using him correctly then its a wasted player on this roster.   I like CEH and think he needs to be used more, if they don't have plans for him like that then yes we should trade him.

We need to invest a top 100 pick in the DE position.  Ward is a nice story but I don't think you can bank on him being the kind of player we need opposite Frank.   We need a 10 sack potential guy there.   It scares me a little if Taco and Ward are leaned upon to be the answer.

I was expecting a Hunt-like role for CEH but ended up averaging something like 13 touches a game, that's a player any team can and should give up for any decent return. It's like having a shiny new car sitting in the garage.
