SEMO you got me in the mood to do an offseason mock.   

Cut/Retire

M. Schwartz - Saves ~ 7 million

Damien Williams - One of the few cuts that we can save 2.5 million against the cap

C. Henne - Save a little over a million

 

Extend

Tyrann Mathieu -  3/39m and save ourselves about 9-10 milliong this year

Eric Fisher - He can't be cut because of injury but if we could the cap hit would be 3.5 million so extend him one year and drop his 2020 to 3.5 and make the extended year voidable.  If he comes back fully healthy great if not he gets cut in 2021.   Saves around 12 million

Restructure

Pat Mahomes - to save 10 million at this point we are about 22 million in the black considering we were around 20-22 million over.   

Tender

C. Ward - 3.5 million seems a little high but he is servicable and knows the system.   

B. Breeland - 4 million.  Bring the crew back and allow Keyes and Baker to prove themselves another year. 

Sneed and Fenton round out a solid CB room.   CB draft stinks too.

DOD - saves 1 million 

    (11 million in savings)

Extend

Restructure

Pat Mahomes - Convert to signing bonus that should save around 17 million.

    50 million total in savings  - 22 million over the cap gives us around 28 million to spend.

Tender / Resign

B. Breeland - 1- 4 million.  Bring him back and allow Keyes and Baker to prove themselves another year. 

Darrell Williams 2-2 million

Taco Charlton - 1yr - 1 million - We only have Frank, Danna, and Ward on the roster so this is a low cost and possibly high ceiling signing.

Osemele - 1 yr - 1 million - Camp body who hopefully is healed up and can nab a starting role if not is amazing depth.

Dan Sorensen (yuck I hate doing this but Thornhill being healthy will relegate him to a role he's more suited to play.)  2 - 4 million.

Mike Pennel 1 - 1 million - Gives us 4 DT's going into next year.  2 run stuffers and 2 pass rushers.  Eliminates a need.

N. Keizer - 1 / 700k

Pringle 1yr - 1 million  Is a great 5th wr and knows the system plus he has value on ST.

Alex Brown - 1 year 600k - Again stack the DB room and eliminates a need in the draft.  

9.5 million in resigning our own free agents but this takes care of the CB room and gives Keyes, Baker, and Brown another year to develop.

2.5 million for the draft pool.

Gives us 14-15 million to sign a couple mid tier FA's or one big FA.

Sammy Watkins 1 / 5 million

Sign Taylor Moton RT - 5/70 million to play RT.   First year at 10 million.  

Draft: Trade 31 and 176  to the Car for 39 and 73

DRAFT

39.  Landon Dickerson OC - Alabama - Stud OC with a nasty attitude

63.  Dillon Radunz - OT NDSU -Battle it out with Niang for starting LT

73.  Tylan Wallace - WR - OSU #3 WR this year that takes over #2 next year

94.  Tony Fields II - WVU - Coverage LB that we've needed....Nieman's replacement

136.  Tre McKitty TE- Georgia - Great #2 TE with potential in the passing game

144.  JaCoby Stevens - S/Hybrid  -  Sorensen's eventual replacement 

180.  Landon Young - OT - Versatile guy that will slide into guard.
