Hard to put to much value in Veach's presser but from the looks of it they will be keeping Fisher and Schwartz on the roster hoping they can pan out.   That hurts the team financially but if those guys can get healthy then we are a better team.    The team already has a guy on the roster talented enough to hopefully take over if an injury should take one down, but there needs to be another capable LT to step in if needed.    I would say a LT, LG, and C are all needed.   Add a #2 WR and backup TE that makes 5 big needs on O.    Defense needs a veteran DE and developmental DE,  S/LB hybrid to take over for Sorensen, coverage LB to take Niemann's job and another CB.   Making it 4 big needs on that side of the ball.

Moves can be made by cutting Damien Williams, Chad Henne and DOD to save a little more than $4 million,  convert Pats and Kelces to signing bonus can free up over $20 more million, extende Mathieu saves at least 10 million.   If he goes the route he said and only signs mid tier guys then he could easily get 2-3 with a handful of vet minimum deals.   I believe the cap will rise to 185 with the TV deals possibly more but that gives us $25 million to spend in FA.

Is CB Ward on the team?  What happens with Damien?  Do the Chiefs really need Pennel?  Just being nit picky.

I decided to let him go and bring back Breeland.   Fenton and Baker can fill his roll.      Cut Damien because we save nearly 2 million, but if you prefer him over Breida thats a wash either way.    Pennel on the vet minimum can be cut if Saunders or another player steps us.
