The NFL can not have even a notion of some sort of discrimination ...in a way Michael Sam is too big to fai. the thing is that in preseason he had 2 or 3 sacks & around 11 tackles in his minimal playing time. It was said that Sam is a terrible practice player hence the reason STL did not put him on their Practice Squad. Pretty good reasoning IMO.
