Thuney signed

Chiefs signed OG Kyle Long to a one-year contract.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the deal is worth up to $5 million. It's the Chiefs' second major addition at guard after signing Joe Thuney. Long actually has NFL experience at tackle — where the Chiefs are also replacing both starters — but he hasn't played there since 2015. The Chiefs could still be getting Laurent Duvernay-Tardif back at guard after he opted out of the 2020 season to help fight the coronavirus pandemic — LDT is a doctor — but his NFL future is uncertain. Headed into his age-33 campaign, Long was limited to 30 total appearances by injury between 2016-19. He's an upside addition, but the Chiefs will believe his contributions when they see them.

Free agent OT Riley Reiff will visit the Bengals.

The Bengals have former first-rounder Jonah Williams locked in on the left side, the Bengals could be eyeing Reiff as a possible replacement for RT Bobby Hart. He has some experience on the right side from his Detroit days. The Vikings cut Reiff last week in a salary-cap move despite a nice bounce-back year from him in 2020.
