xen 1,010,218
14. Kansas City Chiefs (via MIN): Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech Trade! The Kansas City Chiefs trade picks 31, 63, and a 2022 first-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for pick 14. The Chiefs are giving it their all in this one. With a clear need at tackle after releasing both Mitchell Schwartz and Eric Fisher, they come up to get a phenomenal talent in Christian Darrisaw. With clear improvement each year in Blacksburg and some of the best pure physical tools in the class, Darrisaw looks like a steady presence along the offensive line. If he can add a little more strength to his upper half, Darrisaw can be utterly dominant. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2021-first-round-nfl-mock-draft-via-pfns-mock-draft-simulator-v-10-0/ Darrisaw imo is head and shoulders above any of the other options at left tackle in our system but damn that's a lot to give up. Yeah, that 2022 first rounder is not cool. But dig the player.
jetlord 10,207
Two firsts and a second? No, thanks. Better to get Jenkins at 21 or so or even drop to the second tier and fill other holes. About a year from now, the Chiefs would be really wanting a first rounder. oldtimer
Biggjliv4 1,292
That's hell of a steep price to pay for an individual that's not going to put us over the top. We don't need the highest rated LT at the cost of high end rookie talent/contracts to help counter our high end contracts. oldtimer

This would cost us more than it did to get Mahomes.....pass oldtimer
