He certainly has played well enough to be considered a solid corner....and it's rare that someone with his ability isn't signed yet. So do we know what this issue is? Already has substance issues as seen last year and even had a jail sentence. If he can stay clean for a couple years or so may be he gets a decent deal but will probably be too old by then. First of all you can't prove that I have used any weed in whatever dumb state still bans it, can't speak for the rest. I don't think any GM cares about weed anymore. Breeland had some substance abuse sentence from the NFL in the past but pretty sure it was just for weed as well. Maybe if Breeland was an all pro, he could still wrangle a deal, but he not at that level where teams want to take a chance. If the Chiefs can sign him for a one year deal at a few million, go for it. Otherwise, make do with who's on the roster now and maybe pick up a late cut if needed. Trying to get back in the car, like he just decided he wasn't gonna let the cop arrest him that day, and he was leaving. Just handled it like a total dipshit. CB is good Hope so, but Hughes is strictly a slot corner and Baker hasn't proven anything yet. It would be great to see Baker play up to first round standards and put Ward on the bench but we can't assume that will happen. BoPete will have to step it up to make the squad.
