Balto 723
Can't be just money can it? I have always liked DeCastro.
Balto 723
I guess the last 3 years he has gone down and is trending down when he had been a 80-90 type of PFF guy his entire career minus the past 3. Maybe age has just caught up with him /shrug. DeCastro PFF: 2020: 64.1 2019: 71.1 2018: 74.8 2017: 90 2016:

AFCWEST 1,238
NO ROOM on this roster. Lamardirts
sith13 1,746
If Smith isn't ready to take over from LDT I would definitely look to bring a healthy DeCastro as the stop gap. Could push LDT to backup role and Wylie out of the roster.
Lamardirts 2,114
He isn’t playing for vet min and isn’t the same guy. Pass
KC Warpaint 3,234
one thing we all should know by now is that if there is any way that he can help this team they will at least kick the tires, if he is not any type of upgrade at all then veach will not waste his time Lamardirts and Iluvhouse24

Which would you cut to make room for a declining lineman who is injured and on the brink of retiring? oldtimer
DieHard 2,061
I wouldn’t mind seeing Wylie replaced. But it would have to be a cheap deal.

Trade Wylie for a future seventh. The Chiefs still have about 13-14 O-linemen on the roster.
Thegoatee 1,780
He sounds like he is in the same boat as Schwartz. Retire unless he somehow heals 100%.

I can't imagine playing football with that. You can get em ground off surgically though.
sith13 1,746
Definitely something to bounce back from but at DeCastro's age I'm not sure if he would be inclined to do so or how long it would take after the surgery. Any surgery is much harder for linemen due to size but the prospect of a ring could get him back.

JuJu is too young to be lured with just the promise of a ring and Williams seems to be more focused on the money. That being said the prospect of a ring may not be as powerful of a variable in the equation as some of us (like me) think. oldtimer

Still has perfect hands and we lack a possession receiver, I would imagine it's a perfect match.

I think thats where Kelce comes into the equation..just a hunch here but teams with mediocre TE's need a PWR..Chiefs have theirs

Let him be our X while Powell learns the ropes from a HOF. Not expecting eye popping numbers, but he could still keep a corner busy on one side of the field.
