I think thats where Kelce comes into the equation..just a hunch here but teams  with mediocre TE's  need a PWR..Chiefs have theirs

Fitz would be complementing Kelce IMO. Could play either the X or the slot easily with those hands and let Hill roam free. Not sure about Noah yet but with him and Powell around as late round rookies such a vet would be very useful as a 1-year option.

Larry Fitzgerald makes no sense for Kansas City Chiefs

He makes some good points.  I didn't really watch AZ last year other than a game or two so no idea if his tank is empty or not.

Wanna sat Fitz played mostly out of the slot and was thought of as a hybrid TE type for that style of offensive.  I agree about probably not a true #2 outside but if cheap I don’t see how it could hurt.

So according to the article we are better off rolling with Robinson and Hardman 🤔

Everyone would choose a guy like JuJu over Fitz but we don't have such options right now, not even sure if there's anyone comparable to Fitz on the market either.

The real equation:

Mahomes + good O-line + current receivers  >  Mahomes + often injured and shallow O-line + often infured Watkins

We will be better on offense than last year without adding anybody at receiver.  Add in double tight end sets with Noah Gray and more passing to RB's, especially CEH, and we could be MUCH better.  We simply do not need an over-the-hill receiver.

Agreed.  I doubt we run more than in years past under Reid but they will be more effective when they do.  I think inside the 10 especially more effective thus adding another layer to the offense.    I think they pretty comfortable with the WR room right now.

A good offensive line makes average WRs and RBs look like hall of famers.

Exactly.  The Chiefs need to spend their resources on defense.

So how do you see opposing defenses lining up on the 2021 Chiefs? Besides Kelce and Hill, who scares a DCoordinator?

CEH, maybe Hardman breaks out, Gray is used to present problems, Pringle or Powell play well.  There's possibilities.

Why would anyone think that having the best QB in the league along with the best receiving TE and an all-pro WR isn't enough>  No offense is going to have pro-bowlers at every position and even average play from the other weapons will get the Chiefs to where they want to go as long as the O-line is above average.

Because as you saw in the Supper Bowl blowout, injuries to key personnel can derail a game plan. 2 injuries to RT and LT cost the game according to almost 99% of the people on this board.

Lose Kelce, Hill can be doubled or shadowed. Do you have confidence in Hardman or robinson to emerge as a viable #2?

Lose Kelce, who emerges as a viable TE threat?

Lose Hill, Kelce can be doubled or shadowed. Do you have confidence in Hardman or Robinson to emerge?

Mahomes for sure and soon to be CEH

I am not the only one who watch Hardman run a 4.22 40.... the boy has strengthened his core.. and looks like he has been hanging around with hill.
