TYREEK HILLWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Tyreek Hill missed practice Tuesday with knee tendonitis. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is being careful with his superstar wideout, who was seen working out to the side of the team's training camp practice. Even if Hill sits out a few days, there's no real risk of him missing any regular season action. The speedster's knee health is worth monitoring though. oldtimer

robgar 1,046
well if chris jones made zeus jr, look bad, it aint the first time he has done that to many offensive linemen. Niang appears to be holding his own.. and I am liking what I am hearing about the interior.

AFCWEST 1,238
With pads being on, the Chiefs participated in their first offensive line-versus-defensive line drills of training camp, which came with some winners and losers. Winners (in order): Tershawn Wharton, Mike Danna, the first-team offensive line interior of Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith, Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Austin Edwards Losers (in order): Orlando Brown Jr. (who Jones tossed and Danna beat), Andrew Wylie, Taco Charlton. In the above drill, Lucas Niang had better reps against Alex Okafor than Jones. “As a rookie, he is very impressive,” said Okafor of Niang. “Obviously, he’s big, strong, physical, but more than anything, you don’t see him mess up too often. He’s patient, and you don’t see that too often as a tackle. I think offensive linemen, especially tackle, has one of the hardest learning curves as a rookie, and you just don’t see that from him. At least not yet.

Fmbl2187 2,279
Sounds like Tyreek Hill got his patellar tendon overworked from jumping or running too fast. Jumper's Knee is not a laughing matter, though. He'll need to stop stressing it, do physical therapy, take ibuprofen, some cold packs, and let it rest. It is really self-limited and usually goes away, as long as he is honest about discomfort. The pain should be used to determine whether to back off or to resume full activity. If the trainers and Hill are smart, he should be fully recovered in a month. If they are not smart, he could be lost for a much longer time. I hope they are smart with it. He shouldn't squat, and he sure as hell better not be doing backflips after touchdowns without hurting his overall personality too bad.

If the better player can play on the left side, that should be the choice IMO. Obviously it's a different approach based on the need, a few downs in a single game vs multiple games should warrant different setups.
