I'm still stuck on the LDT for a 3rd idea.  I'd be estatic with a 5th, but if Veach could fleece a 3rd then he should win Exec of the year before the season even starts for rebuilding this Oline and dealing LDT for a 3rd.

The starters might play a half or even just one series of downs but I’d think that if they score a TD on the first offensive drive I bet they get pulled in short order after that.

"Slap nuts."   Hahahahaha.  I haven't heard that before.  Does that refer to slapping their genitalia or that they are mentally ill and need to be slapped? I am hoping that it means both.  I'm not going to be able to sleep  until it is explained to me.

Reid didn't change his mind.  At his presser yesterday, he stated his plan all along was to play the starters in the first half.  Of course, he added that "we'll just have to see how it goes" or something like that.
