CranjisMcbasketball 780
Here is the beauty of the orlando brown trade… we essentially gave up nothing to acquire him. Moved back from 1st round to 2nd, who cares. Swapped some late round picks, who cares. then we also gave a 3rd. If brown plays like a stud and we pay him, ok we got a stud lt for a third, great. If he is anything other than a stud we can walk, get a third rounder back as a comp pick, and get essentially a free year of a good LT for cheap without losing any real draft value. Thegoatee 1,780
Yeah, I can honestly say I’ve never heard of that guy. Would be true of a lot of linemen. But heck, I’ve said it before, I’d never even heard of Frank Clark when we broke the bank for him. Unless it is a QB or hall of fame dude, breaking the bank is probably never a good idea. Could potentially tag and trade as well. AFCWEST
Biggjliv4 1,292
Worst case we tag him for a year or two and draft a replacement. Part of the business of football and winning.

Or tag and play him for 2 more years after this while we find a tackle. We have a ton of options with that trade. Great move by Veach.
sith13 1,746
The thing about stud linemen is that you rarely hear about them unless there's a lot of buzz and when you hear a LT's name a lot that's mostly due to terrible performance.
