azchief21 5,278
Montana played longer. Mahomes is a better QB
West 6,713
Montana's career interception % was 2.8% Mahomes is 1/2 that over a much lower sample size.

Some of those stats are affected by rule changes favoring offense. Montana was the best of his generation and they really revolutioned the game. Thats not to say mahomea isnt better or wont be. I think he will be listed with the all time greats when he is done.
West 6,713
agree 100% with that perspective Reese..... the two guys at the 1.4 % were Mahomes & Rogers.... That surprised me a bit.

Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed was nice! Think he has James lofton at the same time as well.
Thegoatee 1,780
Gonzo was revolutionary for the time as the former basketball prototype who became great at football. Kelce is part of the Gronk-type of TE that followed. The only thing Gonzo had was more reliable hands in my mind. Kelce has some weird drops and lapses of concentration.
