Chiefs Chargers Your Predictions

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said DE Frank Clark strained his hamstring during Thursday's practice.

Both Charvarius Ward (quad) are Clark are "getting treatment" ahead of Sunday's showdown against the Chargers. Even Ward's loss would be huge since he soaked up 97% of Kansas City's defensive snaps against the Ravens in Week 2. Both should be considered hig

No Jones or Clark.

Chiefs lose big here. All of a sudden we’re thrusted into a shock and go down 2 games in the West.

KC can still out score anyone. How much worse can the defense play. Its just easier to accept the defense will stink and root for Mahomes.

True. Keep forgetting we have a vintage OL now. Haven't seen this since 03.

Feels damn good to see them blocking so well.

Don't be surprised if Kelce has a very pedestrian outing against the Chargers. Derwin James is the one dude who can shut Kelce down.....

That means Hill and Mahomes will have to carry the offense.😒

I disbelieve a single defender can cover Kelce. It always has and always will take 2 if any.

Derwin who? He’s played like 2 games in 5 years. Only guy who is all pro but doesn’t play.

Chiefs CB Charvarius Ward (quad) is inactive for Week 3 against the Chargers.

Ward joins DE Frank Clark (hamstring) on the shelf. They are two huge losses for a projected shootout. It is basically the last thing the Chiefs' struggling defense needed. Joining Ward and Clark on the shelf are WR Daurice Fountain, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and OL Austin Blythe.

meh..Clark is only good at containing the outside anyways..No pass rush threat from him. I think okafor and dana can give you that. And a lot of us wanted a look at Baker anyways. It's not like Ward has been lighting it up.

I would rather have the starters, but from what I've seen the first two weeks, the middle of the defense has been the main problem, and they're all playing.

Lets see how they look this week.
