No coincidence

It has  more to do with the line.  Frank Clark showing up, Jones moving inside and owning combined with the addition of Ingram.  The front line was always the biggest problem, much more so than anyone in the back 6-7.  There is no question that our two young linebackers have emerged, and Thornhill has looked fine, but Dan and Nieman are still playing, and the defense isn't suffering from it, because the defensive line is getting home and controlling the LOS, something that didn't happen in the first 5 games.

I would like to see a lot less Dan Nieman and Ben Sorreson...!

They are still playing too much. Bolton only had like 14 snaps against dallas

Bolton played until the Chiefs were well ahead.  The Cowboys run game was going no where and they moved into a passing mode for the most part.  Bolton isn't trusted to cover, although why Neiman is is a mystery.  Bolton made some good plays but whiffed when Pollard faked a throw back to Prescott.  He's done a good job, but is stil situational.
