Plus I want to beat the donks 12 times in a row. I really don't want them to win a game where we may rest our starters and they get a cheap win.

Unlike the Chargers' game last season, it's hard to imagine a case where the Donks game isn't meaningful.  Most likely, the Chiefs need to win to clinch hoe field and get a week off.  Worst case, they lose two and need a week 18 win to win the division.  Better to play the starters against Denver and get a week off than to pack it in and have to win three games to make the SB.

Week 18 we play a late game and everyone else in contention for 1 seed plays at noon.  There's a chance we're locked in and sit the starters depending the next 2 weeks.

Jones, Sneed and Gay extra rested, is a blessing in disguise. Entire team gets an extra 3 days rest prior to playing Pitts.

The thing that bothered me about Jones is that in one article, he was said to be "getting better." If that is correct, then he was symptomatic, not just had a positive screening test.  If he was symptomatic, Covid can really linger and weaken you...sometimes for quite awhile, weeks, even months in some cases. It might be subtle, but could still affect performance.Hopefully, he was fully vaccinated and any symptoms were very minimal and very brief...or that the article was wrong.  They sure don't say much about that kind of thing.  I guess he is day-to-day.

It wouldn't take to much for week 18 to be meaningless.  Titians get the niners at home and tenn is having offensive issues without Henry and san fran is fighting for a playoff spot.  Its not too hard to imagine the niners that game.  NE gets a pissed off Buffalo team from when they got beatdown in Buffalo a couple weeks.  Not to hard to imagine them winning that game.

If KC stays focused and keeps winning week might not mean a thing.  First things first.  Beat pitt

It's possible that a five loss team gets home field, but KC loses all the tie breakers so for week 18 to be meaningless, they have to win the next two and your combo has to happen.  Not impossible, but unlikely.  Just as unlikely as KC beating the Chargers with the core of their defense out and the Titans blowing a healthy lead yesterday.

Good point. The tiebreakers suck. I think we'll have to win out.
