I said it at the time and I'll say it again, the concerns were way overblown and he can do everything Spags asks our MLB to do in coverage. Is he Gay in coverage? No but few are that athletic and can play. Look, I still don’t love drafting a LB there. However, he’s played great and looks to be a stud MLB for us for the next decade. I don’t think his coverage concerns were or are overblown. He has struggled in zone coverage but I think he’s gotten better and his overall game is really good. I was definitely wrong about him overall and I’m glad we have that position locked up. I also wish he got more run that he is getting, even though that is increasing. I will admit when I’m wrong and I’m wrong quite often. I love to be wrong when it means the Chiefs are better off. Im also all over the place in the game day thread. I don’t really care either. I normally don’t live anywhere near a Chiefs fan so it’s my place to let off steam. I love this board and enjoy the banter and back and forth. I’m sure I said far worse about a pick who has turned out great. It is what it is. But I was also thinking a WR like Terrance Marshall Jr would be a great at the time. Looks like we picked wisely as he's not done anything this year, not sure if it's Carolina or him unable to transition to the NFL.
