Add Niang to the list of activated but not cleared.  Guess we won't know who's playing until noon tomorrow.  Is there any news of the Steeler COVID list?

Only 5 guys:

Isaiah Buggs

Anthony McFarland

Zach Banner

Marcus Allen

Devin Bush

DT Montravius Adams was activated from covid reserve today

Buggs is a solid starter on the defensive line but hasn't played due to injury. He was full practice on Wednesday before being sent back on covid reserve.

Seems like the rosters have pretty much evened out.  They lose their TE, best LB, and a solid lineman.  Still not an easy win, but things are looking better.

Honestly the Steelers don't scare me at all. I think we're back to the point where 90% of the games the team most likely to beat us is us.

That oughta scare you more than anything in 2021

This game is impossible to predict, but it's a lot more important and losable than many in here seem to think.  The Chiefs have no demonstrated kicking game and have six starters out  How would that have worked against the Chargers?  So the Steelers aren't the threat of the past.  They have beaten some good teams and have the DPOY.  Losing this game would most likely mean second (or third) seed and a possible rematch with the Chargers.  Chiefs should win today.  It's not all that assured.

Don't know about you, but they scare me more than most other playoff teams.  Bad game against the Texans means nothing about a third meeting with the Chiefs.

Pittsburgh really isn't that good IMO.  They get in a lot of rock fights and close games but they're not dominant.  Defense is overrated, Ben is erratic.  They're good enough to beat us if we're not at our best, but I do really think we're fine, even with the missing starters, if we play like we're capable of.

On Monday, the Chiefs officially cleared Bolton along with offensive linemen Kyle Long and Lucas Niang from the COVID reserve list. In addition, the team also brought back wide receiver Gehrig Dieter to the practice squad from the same reserve list, which meant giving punter Joseph Charlton the boot to make room among the limited 16 slots given.

The Chiefs will be glad to round out their defense in the second level with the addition of Bolton back in the mix before a tough game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bolton will be a key figure if the team is going to stop or slow Joe Mixon for Cincy to go with the receiving trio of Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and rookie sensation Ja’Marr Chase.

As for the position of right tackle, the Chiefs now get two potential starters back after watching Andrew Wylie hold down the fort through injury and illness. Mike Remmers remains on the COVID reserve list himself as another option there at tackle.
