Popular Post xen 1,010,219
Passed Marty Schottenheimer for 2nd most regular season wins by a KC head coach yesterday. Hank 124 Andy 102 Marty 101 AFC West record 6 straight division titles (2 with Alex Smith as the QB). 3 straight AFC championship games. 2 straight AFC titles (should be 3, thx Dee Ford). Superbowl championship. More to come... We are living in the golden age of Chiefs football. No matter whether he drives you nuts sometimes, he is the best coach in Chiefs history. Consistently ahead of the curve in NFL playcalling. Always rock steady no matter the turbulence. Just wins with all types of rosters. Hank was before my time and I know he was an all timer, but Andy is the best. West, robgar, DieHard and 3 others 5

Holmes4six! 968
I have to say that Reid along with Alex and now Patrick have brought our chiefs from irrelevant to the of the toughest outs in football every week. Once Patrick took over Reid had his man. Locker room always seems to be great and players love him. We are lucky to have a guy like reid and mahomes. man is it a good feeling being a chiefs fan. nowadays when u meet someone and they ask u who your favorite team is and u say chiefs you wonder if the person thinks u jumped on the band wagon. good problem to have. sith13 1,746
I wouldn't compare apples (Hank) vs oranges (Andy) as they are much different eras but Reid is definitely the best coach of my lifetime. Having the horse face at the helm of Broncos during this era is just the cherry on top. Calichief and Burpo The Mad Clown 1
DieHard 2,061
One of the best in NFL history. From 2-14 to 11-5 in one season. And never looked back. What a stud. Glad we didn’t fire him in October. 😂 oldtimer, mex, West and 1 other 1 1

Free agency alone changes the game. You don't get the time now to develop players you used to. More diverse schemes on offense and defense + harder to play defense with rules changes. More teams + less rounds = harder to draft. Hell, with hair trigger owners many head coaches don't even get 3 years when they do get a shot. Back then you just had to matriculate the ball down the field. Easy.
