kkuenn 3,597
Good DE depth this year. Some will be taken way to high though with a run on the position. oldtimer

It looks deep enough that we could get someone who would challenge for a starting role even at the end of round 2. We are gonna have to spend some on a vet free agent, whether that's bringing Ingram back or another player. But after releasing Clark, and with Ingram and Okafor hitting free agency, we are gonna be super thin. oldtimer

I have to wonder in hindsight if Veach and Company don't wish they woulda paid the man on his first visit. Iluvhouse24

Lamardirts 2,114
I've flip flopped on our DE's. I think Frank knows he isn't gonna get anything more than a prove it deal after these last couple years. His dead cap hit is 13,000,000 so why not redo his contract and pay him that. I don't think he's sniffing close to that anywhere else. We get a solid DE at the cost we are going to be stuck with regardless. I just don't like the idea of not having any DE with much experience on this roster. Bring Frank back, look to resign Ingram to another one year deal since he is already 32. Then draft another DE in the 1st or 2nd round and double dip later. A guy I like later on as a pass rush specialist is Christian Allen out of Alabama.
