Willie Gay booked for property damage

Recommended Posts

This is an argument with an ex girlfriend/baby mama.  He didn't hit her, more than likely she was trying to push him out the door, and caused damage.   EVERYONE has a temper and some control it in different ways.  Either way, this is a misdemeanor and should be seen as a learning opportunity for him and get him in some anger management classes.  Deal done!

How do you actually get arrested for breaking a vacuum…

It had to be a bit more than that.

KMBC News reported Chiefs LB Willie Gay was arrested for misdemeanor property damage around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The complaint lists this as a class B non-person misdemeanor, labeling it a domestic violence offense for criminal damage of less than $1,000. Gay is currently being held in the Johnson County Jail and is scheduled for arraignment at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Kansas City's starting linebacker, it's unclear if this arrest will keep Gay sidelined for Sunday night's Divisional Round.

Two things

1.  This isn’t a huge deal in regards to him playing football and the penalty should be minimal so that is good for us fans.

2. On the other hand, going to visit your child and then getting so angry or frustrated that you can’t control your actions and break a vacuum, more than likely by throwing it against the wall isn’t necessarily a minimal issue.  Hopefully this bad press will show him that and he can get some help in managing his emotions because he seems like a likeable dude.

No one is perfect and thankfully this ordeal is one that can be learned from without huge negative ramifications.

As you can see, Kansas is kind of salmon colored and Missouri is the same color as Mississippi.  And we all know what that means.

Not sure what that represents but there is no way I'd rather live in any of those NE states over Alabama or Louisiana.   It's not even close either lol.

I guess it represents their snacks.  In any case, they are navy blue and better than Missouri.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay Jr. was reportedly arrested in connection with misdemeanor criminal damages. On Wednesday night, at 10:30 p.m. Gay was arrested and booked into the Johnson County Detention Center (which is in Kansas), where he remained Thursday morning awaiting bond.

According to reports, Gay caused physical damage to objects totaling less than $1000 during an argument, including a vacuum, wall, door frame, humidifier, and cell phone screen.

As more details have been released, we now know that Gay was charged with what is classified as a domestic violence incident. Thankfully, it appears no injury to a person occurred. He was visiting his son at the time and got into an argument with his son’s mother.
