Bears Hiring Ryan Poles as GM

Recommended Posts

Reported by Schefter, and Albert Breer reported that he's informed the Chiefs that he's taking the job...

So, for the greed side of me, that means we get three 3rd round picks as he is a minority.  Do we get one pick each draft 2022, 2023, 2024, or do they put two of those picks in one of those years and one in the other?

Needless to say, i like having three extra top 100 picks regardless of year

  • The title was changed to Bears Hiring Ryan Poles as GM

Bears hired GM Ryan Poles.

Poles, 36, had been with the Chiefs since 2009, working his way up through their front office into his most recent role as Assistant Director of Player Personnel. Long considered a future general manager as Brett Veach's right-hand man, Poles was also a finalist for both the Vikings' and Giants' GM search. There's a chance Poles drags Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy along with him as the team's next head coach. Regardless, Kansas City will receive a third-round comp pick in each of the next two drafts for this hiring.

Right??

If Poles doesn't hire him then he aint getting a HC gig.

agreed. If anybody knows EB it Poles and if doent think enough of him to  be an HC  that aint good.

On the other hand the fan base and ownership might not be ready for 2 ex Chief OC's in a row thats a steep hill to climb and if EB fails..well  that honeymoon is over butt ass quick

Yup, that's the drawback for EB.

Nagy's failures loom large..
